An Animate the Earth, eco-friendly, collaborative animation workshop took place at Glasdenbury Music and Arts Festival in Devon, England.
We painted A1 sheets of paper with bright colours and styles. We made stick men from twigs and used pipe cleaners to attach their limbs. We also painted local rocks with unique patterns and some children took theirs home.
The weekend was jam packed and very, very hot. All children who took part were intrigued by the workshop at play, many of them were magically inspired by the power of animation and learnt skills such as PATIENCE and COLLABORATION whilst working together. Bravo to all the young filmmakers involved in the project.
The music was also recorded on site by our festival neighbours’ EKO EARTH’s children. Thank you girls!
