Len Lye was an original inventor and free thinker. His work ranged from kinesthetic sculpture to scratch on film animation.

His brave new ideas pioneered the way for many future generations of abstract moving image artists, myself included.

Len Lye’s work has a senses of rawness and complex simplicity which in turn makes it beautiful.
