Southland in Colour – Art Camp ’24

Activities such as nature walks, collecting leaves, drumming, collage, painting, making art from recycable materials, were just a few of the many creative things these students from Tainan took part in during their trip to Kending.

We started by working together as a group to draw different sea animals. We walked up to the Eluanbi lighthouse for some sightseeing and gift shop browsing before heading down to the harbour to paint a colourful wall mural.

In the evening Xiao A, a local djembe player, came to teach everyone some simple beats, it was so much fun.

The next day we made group collages from old magazines and leaf art from collected materials. It was so creative and the kids loved being imaginative and focussing on their own work.

WELL DONE EVERYONE! SEE YOU NEXT TIME!
