About

Throughout my life I have realised that my artistic nature can cross a plethora of different fields. My work is cross disciplined and I enjoy creating dynamic projects.

After gaining a first in Animation at the Bristol School of Animation (UWE), I returned to Taiwan in 2016. I studied there for six months on an exchange in 2015. I was returning to teach English and work on independent animation.

I developed Animate the Earth children’s art workshop after working in a cram school in Tainan. The workshop combines painting with stop-motion animation. It is versatile, flexible and allowing for use with any age group or medium.

In Taiwan as a teacher from another culture, I saw the blind spots within the education system, such as lack of collaboration and teamwork, I strove to create something which was unique, contemporary and educational whilst still being fun and playful. I’m continually adapting my teaching style based upon my experience and continue to research and upgrade my own knowledge on education.

My intention for the workshop is to give people a whole feeling, where they feel they achieved and participated as best as they could have. Technology needs to be understood as a tool for creating, and by educating through holistic-art-music workshops, we can connect back to nature and our true selves.

I believe everyone is an artist, all people in the world having a unique, creative ability which allows the soul to be seen. It is an energy which urges to be released when we embody being a creator. I manifest to bring nature and technology and digital and print together, mixing traditional and contemporary techniques to weave a powerful message.

Not so long ago, I realised that being an artist is a full-time job. I began pouring more energy into my work and now reside in the countryside.
